Wow... Time really flies.. Is been a month plus since this blog is updated. We would like to apologize to all for not updating the blog recently. This is because we at Play N Learn have been busy.. We will be having a Promotion Event in Tropicana City Mall this coming Sat (15th of May 2010). We are having many activities such as Performance by Play N Learn kids and also colouring competition.

The programs are as follows:

Taekwondo Performance: 12.15pm

Gymnastics Performance: 1.15pm

Global Art Competition: 3pm to 5pm (OPEN TO PUBLIC)

Ballet Performance: 5pm

Bahasa Melayu Class

Play N Learn latest addition of new classes... Due to the demand of parents, we decided to introduce a Bahasa Malayu class in Play N Learn. The Bahasa Melayu course is a programme designated for pre-school and primary students. The syllabuses are based on the National School Curriculum (KPK) and (KBSR).

Age 4-5 years old 
Friday: 4pm to 5pm

Silibus yang disusun untuk kanak-kanak di peringkat awal.

Proses pembelajaran bahasa dengan penggunaan dan pendekatan SUKU KATA yang berdasarkan (KPK)

Membimbing kanak-kanak dalam menguasai kemahiran dan konsep asas dalam mengenal dan menyebut suku kata.

Melalui keadah suku kata, kanak-kanak diajar secara bertahap-tahap; dimulakan dengan mengenal serta menyebut huruf, diikuti menyebut suku kata dan kata, diakhiri dengan membaca ayat-ayat mudah yang terkawal pemilihan kata-katanya.

Kemahiran tersebut adalah seperti berikut:

Membunyikan suku kata terbuka

Membina perkataan daripada suku kata

Membaca perkataan yang dibina daripada suku kata

Membaca perkataan

Membaca rangkai kata, ayat-ayat den perenggan

Menyusun dan menulis perkataan-perkataan yang disenaraikan supata menjadi ayat yang betul.

Beginners will be taught about the basic SUKU KATA (combination of vowel and consonant), words recognition, reading simple words and phrases, and proper ways of arranging and writing the words to construct simple sentences.

Sat: 1.30pm to 3.30pm (8-10 years old)

Menggunakan pelbagai bentuk latihan and proaktif dengan pendekatan secara berperingkat.

Merangkumi semua topic dalam sukatan pelajaran.

Kepelbagaian bentuk latihan dan teknik penyoalan disediakan untuk menguji pemahaman murid-murid terhadap aspek-askpek tatabahasa. 

Meningkatkan penguasaan bahasa serta kemahiran penulisan murid-murid, mereka turut disediakan dengan latihan pemahaman.

Meningkatkan kemahiran berfikir melalui pelbagain bentuk soalan.

Program yang disusun secara sistematik dan mengikut tatatingkat mengajar kemahiran membaca dan menulis.

Menguji tahap pemahaman murid-murid melalui set ujian.

Primary Students will be assessed to their grading and taught using variety of proactive exercises based on the school learning topics. Besides, the syllabuses will help to improve their skills in Comprehension, Grammars, Writing, and Reading and to do better in school's examinations. 

Penulisan
Age: 7-9 years old
Sun: 1pm to 3pm

Progam yang memfokuskan kepada aspek penulisan dan kemahiran mengarang dalam Bahasa Melayu. Aspek-Aspek yang dipelajari adalah berunsurkan kepada topik-topik seperti dalam sukatan pelajaran di sekolah. Para pelajar akan dibimbing dengan cara dan teknik yang betul untuk menulis atau mengarang pelbagai jenis penulisan sertan akan didedahkan kepada format karangan yang betul

Para Pelajar yang berada di tahap awal dalam kemahiran penulisan juga akan dibimbing dengan pendekatan membina dan mengulas ayat di samping memahami aspek tatabahasa dan maksud yang betul. Ini akan membantu membina satu asas yang kuat dan keyakinan dalam mengarang pelbagain bentuk penulisan.

This program will focus on writing skills using Bahasa Melayu. The students will be guided using the correct technique and format based on the school syllabus.
